#1. Make sure you are updated
Sometimes Updating mobile also helps in making device fast because all Updates come with the bug fix, Minor Upgradation, Improved Handling etc.
To Update You Phone Go To-
Setting > About Phone > System Updates > And Click On Update Button If any update is available for your device.
#2. Remove Unwanted Apps
Flushing Unwanted Apps from smartphones also helps in Better performance output. Remove all those unwanted apps which you use no longer. These apps slow up your device by consuming RAM and Storage of Mobile.
To Uninstall Apps Follow these Steps –
Setting > Applications > Manage Applications > then Select the apps which you use no longer & click on Uninstall Button.
#3. Wipe cache partition
The cache partition is separate from your app data cache and it contains temporary files. It is good to clean this out periodically .Fo this you will have to boot into recovery mode to do it. The method of entering recovery mode varies depending on your device, but you’ll find it easily with a quick Google Query . Once in recovery mode, you use the volume keys to navigate and the power key to select an item.

#4. Clean Up Home Screen Of Phone
While Starting Phone, Due to Homescreen apps it takes more time than average to boot up. Cleaning up will help in saving few extra second we lost while booting our device.
To Clean Homescreen –
Drag on Homescreen App icon to drop it To Dustbin Near it. Do the same process with all other apps which is on home screen.

Open the settings on your Android device, and go into the device storage page. Scroll down the list until you see the Cached data entry, and tap on it. You’ll see a pop-up telling you that you’re able to clear out all cached data. Click “Yes” that’s it. Cache data are not valuable at all so clear it with no fear.
#6. Turn off or reduce animations
You can make your Android device feel snappier by reducing or turning off some of the animations. Animation effects consume more RAM and Processor than clean effect.
- Go to Settings > About phone and scroll down to the System section to look for Build number.
- Tap on it seven times and you should see a message about being a developer.
- You can now go back to the previous menu and you should see Developer options listed under System.
- Head in there and scroll down to find Window animation scale, Transition animation scale, and Animator duration scale. Tap each in turn and set it to .5x or off.
- Pick an option and find out what suits you.
#7. Remove auto-sync setting.
Auto-sync runs in the background and consumes both RAM and internet of Device so it is better to turn it off sometimes. Auto-sync is used to Synchronize Data in Background, Like mail , Auto app update, New map data etc.
- To remove Auto-sync go to setting> Account and Sync
- Uncheck Auto-sync option there.

Sometimes default android launcher is loaded with lots of function which make android transition slow. You can Replace Default Launcher with Free Launcher Like Nova Launcher, Go Launcher EX or Apex Launcher. Try this app and feel the increased speed of android.

It all of the above things fails, try using Factory Reset Option because it makes your device as new as it was at the time of purchase. Be careful while Doing Factory Reset Because it will wipe out your all data on your android smart device.

To do factory reset go to setting > backup and reset> and click on Factory Data Reset.
In Android 2.3.3, Goto setting> Privacy Setting> Personal Data > Factory Data Reset.
